Could This Be The Ultimate Anti Theft Tech Backpack

In 2017 we carry around more tech than ever before, and that tech is becoming more and more expensive. So unfortunately that then makes us a target for theft whether we are walking, on a bus or train. However, a new type of backpack has recently hit the market and is becoming fashionable and it’s the “anti theft” backpack.

We were lucky enough to have the Baibu rucksack sent over from the lovely guys at Camy Lee for this review.

How is a backpack anti theft, I hear you ask. Well, it doesn’t come covered in padlocks, the clever design moves the traditional zips usually found on the front, to the back of the backpack. This means that the zips are not directly accessible when the owner is wearing the bag reducing the chance of being pickpocketed or accessed when out and about.

Even though the main zip has been relocated there are still a number of different pockets available for smaller items, with one built directly into the back padding of the bag itself.

It’s worth noting at this point that the bag has one very special feature other than its security, it actually has a USB socket built into the external lining of the bag. This allows for any phone, tablet or other usb device to be charged on the move.

The internal part of this USB charging point is a simple USB cable that can be plugged into a powerbank of your choice, which is then safely secured in one of the internal pockets.

The backpack is also designed to safely hold a laptop, up to 16 inches in size with a safe padded shock-proof internal pocket. The backpack boasts the following other great features:

  • Water repellent fabric
  • Anti-theft design: Concealed zipper to prevent easy access.
  • Anti-cut lining: Sides are embedded with an armored plate.
  • Illuminating safety strips
  • Weight balanced
  • Luggage strap
  • Comes in 4 different colour options

Overall we can highly recommend this backpack for its security, tech-friendly features and also the quality materials it’s manufactured from. Impressed? Head over to Camy Lee and check it out. They were also kind enough to offer our readers 15% off if they use the code “Sushi15”.
