App of the Month – May 2014: Vhoto

vhotoThis month Cyber Sushi Design are loving Vhoto, an app that allows you to capture brilliant stills from videos you’ve taken on your phone. Vhoto means that you can capture all the best moments on film and still have excellent photos to display. We’ve found that Vhoto is definitely useful for families recording video, who want to capture a still from the footage.

There are three simple steps:

1. Record video

2. Choose your favourite images

3. Save

How it Works

Vhoto’s chooser finds all the best still photos hidden within your videos, choosing the best photos for you to use. You can even import existing videos for Vhoto to work on.

Vhoto has additional features that allow you to edit photos and save, share and send. The more you use Vhoto the more it works with you to provide the images you like best. You can even focus on specific features when recording a video to ensure Vhoto knows what you are interested in.

Vhoto is free from the app store, but needs the advanced features available only on the iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s and on iPod touch (5th generation).
