#1: Listen Out for Buying Signals
Social media is alive with conversations about your products or services. At Cyber Sushi Design we like to think of these conversations as Buying Signals. If you can tune into your potential customers’ Buying Signals, you create the opportunity to add value to these conversations and generate opportunities.
Because the social web is awash with conversations, it can be hard to separate valid Buying Signals from more general noise. Take your time to search Twitter and Facebook for mentions of your services, products and company name. Reply with useful information that could be enough to close that sale or prompt a sales call enquiry. Never appear pushy as it can cause the opposite and put a potential customer off what you are offering.
